The best time to be a kid is the holidays – our family’s most favorite time of the year! The other day, my son told me that he wishes Christmas is all year long and suggested that we put up Christmas decor right after Halloween!

The Holiday Collection from Gymboree offers comfy + festive outfits for all of your holiday celebrations and traditions without breaking the bank. Also perfect for gifts and stocking stuffers!

We have several traditions for the holiday and try to start a new one each year.

Tradition 1: We wear holiday pajamas on Christmas Eve and open presents in them on Christmas morning. I don’t really like matchy-matchy, so I just try to match the colors. Get $10 holiday pajamas at Gymboree. Here’s what I ordered this year.

Tradition 2: Each of my kids get to pick an ornament to hang on the Christmas tree. These outfits are comfy + warm, perfect for California winter and a trip to the craft store.

Tradition 3: A tradition we started last year is going around town looking at beautifully holiday decorated houses. Our favorite is the city’s Candy Cane Lane filled with festive display of lights and fun decor.

Tradition 4:  We donate Christmas gifts – I bring both with me to the store and have them pick the presents to donate.

The tradition my kids want to start this year is decorating gingerbread houses! I tried to start this tradition when they were toddlers but it was a disaster; they were too young. I’m sure they’ll enjoy this tradition now that they’re older.

And now to the deals. The best time to shop at Gymboree in my opinion is during Black Friday but you can still get awesome deals throughout the holiday (even throughout the year).
